All-district first baseman three straight years (1968-70), leading Wildcats to berths in 1968 and 1970 NAIA World Series. Batted .378 in 1970 and selected Honorary team captain. Career batting average of .345. Taught and coached at Toledo and Connell high schools. Led Connell to 1984 state baseball title.
