Only four time all-conference basketball player in school history (1947-50). Scored 1,377 points and led CWU to first-ever appearance in national tournament in 1950. Won Evergreen Conference batting title in 1950. Most successful basketball coach in NAIA national tournament history. Career mark of 464-178 (through 1985 season).
