Central Washington University's 1942 football team ended a drought of 10 years without a football title by winning the WINCO title with a 4-1-1 conference record. Three members of the team -halfback L. G. Carmody. guard Bob Osgood and end Russ Wiseman – were charter members of CWU's Hall-of-Fame.
