Central Washington University Athletics

Was outstanding football player for CWU between 1938 and 1941 before embarking on career in the field of education. Was starting tackle for Wildcats and was also active in student government, serving as ASB council member. Coached at Tenino for one year and in Olympia school district for 31 years. Was an early advocate in Olympia area for girls athletics and coached the Olympia High School girls track team.
