Starting quarterback on 1970 and 1971 teams. Set career records for yardage (2,958 yards) and touchdowns (35). Threw for 1,787 yards and 18 touchdowns in 1971. Twice named to Evergreen Conference and District 1 all-star team. Earned special education degree in 1972. Later compiled a 57-29 record in nine seasons as head football coach at Fife High School.
