NAIA national champion at 118 pounds in 1971, helping CWU win first national team title in any sport. Compiled record of 25 wins and three losses. Placed third in 1970 national tournament. Season record of 15 wins and eight losses. Counting junior college had career record of 114 wins and 22 losses. Had compiled record of 136-37 and won five league championships in 13 seasons at Montesana at time of induction.
