Kristen competed for the Wildcat Women’s Basketball team from 1997 to 2001. During her tenure at CWU she earned the Best Defense Award on the team two out of her four seasons. She also earned Honorable Mention All-PNAC in 1998, First Team All-PacWest in 2000, Honorable Mention Little Northwest Team in 2000, Honorable Mention All-GNAC in 2001, and was named one of the three team captains for the 1999-2000 season.
Willis currently holds many single-season top-10 spots in Wildcat women’s basketball history. She currently holds the first (133) and third (125) in free throws made, fourth (168) and fifth (167) in free throws attempted, second (85), seventh (68), and eighth (67) in steals, and second (3), fifth (2.7), and seventh (2.5) in steals average.
In the career top-10 Kristen currently ranks first in steals with 265, second in assists with 378, second in steals average with 2.6 per game, second in free throws made with 363, third in free throws attempted with 488, fourth in assists average with 3.7 per game, and seventh in games started with 97.
