Won 505 games in 33 seasons. (1929-64) as head basketball coach. Pavilion named in his honor. Former President of NAIA and member of Helms Athletic and NAIA Halls-of-Fame. Compiled 45-26-6 record in 10 seasons as football coach (1931-40). Also coached tennis and golf and served as school's athletic director from 1931-62.
