At time of induction was still school-record holder in three individual events - the 100 (11.8), 200 (24.5), 400 (54.9) and two relay events - the 800 meter medley relay (1:47.2) and 4X400 meter relay (4:02.0). Placed second in the 100 yard dash (11.2) and fourth in the 200 (25.07) in the 1975 AIAW national meet. Earned a B.A. in education in 1978.
