Senior Elena Gomez sprinted past the competition on Saturday afternoon at the CWU Invitational, easily capturing first overall in the 4k with a time of 15:11. Racing in front of a home crowd, Gomez breezed to the top of the women’s leaderboard, finishing 23 seconds ahead of the next runner.
