CWU Athletics Charitable Donation Information
DONATION REQUEST POLICY
The Central Washington University Athletic Department would like to help your organization in its fund raising event. Below is the form that you MUST complete and submit for your donation request. We ask that all requests be submitted at least ONE MONTH prior to event date. We will honor as many requests as we can, but only one request per organization per fiscal year (July 1-June 30).
Notification of receipt of your request will be confirmed within two weeks. Your organization will be responsible to provide the name, address, phone number and email address of auction winner, in order for us to get the tickets to them.
The NCAA does not allow for donations to benefit high school athletic programs or any student or program that consist mainly of students that have begun 9th grade through 12th. Any item donated must have all proceeds go directly to the charitable, educational, or non-profit organization.
NCAA Regulations regarding donations:
13.2.1 Offers and Inducement.
An institution's staff member or any representative of its athletics interests shall not be involved, directly or indirectly, in making arrangements for or giving or offering to give any financial aid or other benefits to the prospective student-athlete or the prospective student-athlete's relatives or friends, other than expressly permitted by NCAA regulations.
13.15.1.2 Fundraising for High School Athletics Program.
Institutions may not provide funding, directly or through paid advertisements, to benefit a high school athletics program.
