Welcome to Central Washington University and to the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. We are extremely excited to have you part of the Wildcat Athletic Family and hope that your experience as a student-athlete will provide memories and friendships that last a lifetime.

At CWU we are committed to providing each and every student-athlete the opportunity and resources to be successful in competition and the classroom. Your success as a student-athlete will be a direct correlation and contingent upon the level of effort you put forth in all aspects of your career at CWU. We are also confident that your participation in athletics at Central will lead to the development of life skills that you will continue to utilize in all aspects of your life upon graduation.

With the privilege of competing in intercollegiate athletics comes responsibility. As a student-athlete you are responsible for representing your respective sport team, the Department of Athletics, and the University, but most importantly you have the responsibility to represent yourself with class, dignity, and respect. Therefore, it is our expectation that you will take responsibility for your own behavior and be an excellent ambassador of Central Athletics.

Carefully review the section on NCAA regulations. You are responsible for knowing and complying with all bylaws related to your competitive eligibility.
