Redshirt freshman quarterback Jonathan Hillel showed maturity in CWU’s 55-6 blowout victory against Simon Fraser University. Hillel excelled throwing and running the football in Saturday’s matchup against the Clan. Relieving senior quarterback Justin Lane early in the second quarter, Hillel made the most of his opportunity to play, finishing 10 of 14 for 181 yards and two touchdowns through the air. He added two more touchdowns on the ground with seven attempts for 36 yards.
