The senior defensive lineman penciled his name into the record books last Saturday against Western Oregon University. After recording his second sack of the game, Sanchez became CWU’s all-time leader in career sacks. Sanchez led all defensive players with three sacks on the day to bring his career total to 26.0, and his season total to 8.0. A disruptive force in the trenches for Central, Sanchez and the CWU defense held Western Oregon to just 107 yards of offense, with 64 coming on one single drive in the fourth quarter.
