Junior Ali Anderson kicked off her 2016-17 indoor track season with a bang this past weekend, representing the Wildcats in four events at the WSU Open. Anderson anchored the winning 4x400-meter relay team that recorded a time of 4:03.52. She also earned a pair of second-place finishes in the 800 (2:15.99) and the long jump (17 feet, 4.75 inches). In the 60-meter hurdles, Anderson placed 12th overall with a time of 9.70 seconds.
