Sophomore distance runner Alexa Shindruk recorded a NCAA Division II Provisional Qualifying mark in the 5,000-meter run at the Ralph Vernacchia Meet on the campus of Western Washington University last Saturday. Shindruk’s time of 17:21.35 earned her first overall in the event and ranks third in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
