Junior outside hitter Maggie McTaggart was an offensive catalyst for the Wildcats this past weekend at the Terrace Hotels Classic. Behind McTaggert’s leadership, the Wildcats finished the weekend with a 3-1 record, including a sweep of No. 17 University of Tampa, New Haven University and Pace University. Against the Spartans, McTaggart recorded 10 kills on 27 attempts with a .259 hitting percentage and added seven digs. Her .409 clip versus Pace University is the eighth-best by an GNAC player this year and she currently ranks in the top-20 in both kills (36) and hitting percentage (.276).
