Senior All-American linebacker Kevin Haynes had a standout day last Saturday in CWU’s double-overtime loss to Texas A&M Commerce. Haynes recorded a game-high 16 tackles, 1.5 for loss, a sack, and an interception that was returned 27 yards, setting a new CWU Division II playoff record for yards from an interception. He totaled 100 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and one interception to lead the CWU defense this season.
