Senior outfielder James Smith III made the most of his senior weekend, launching two home runs to assist the Wildcats to a series victory over Northwest Nazarene University. In the first game of the series, Smith clubbed two home runs to drive in four runs. Over the course of the weekend, Smith went 4-for-9 and tallied 4 RBIs and five scored runs. The Riverside, Calif.-native leads the team in multiple offensive categories including batting average (.379), slugging percentage (.621), and on base percentage (.457).
