Senior HarLee Ortega sat in ninth place heading into the final event of the heptathlon, the 800-meter run, last weekend at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Ortega recorded a personal best time of 2:19.17 to finish second in the event, which moved her up to fifth overall and earn her All-American recognition. She accumulated a total of 5,026 points over the course seven events, which surpassed her previous school record.
