Hennessey led the WIldcats' offense to a 50-17 win over Western Oregon University. He completed 17 of 28 throws, for 275 yards, and one touchdown. The 50 points is the most points scored against Western Oregon since 2005, when the Wildcats scored 61. It is also the most points scored at Western Oregon since 2003, when CWU won 55-44 in a shootout.
