Hollidge had his work cut out for him in the Wildcats season opening rout of in-state rival Western Washington. CWU easily sunk the Vikings 66-3 to retain the Cascade Cup and Hollidge was key in that with his conversions. He tacked on five conversions for the Crimson and Black in just the first half alone. His efforts allowed him to rest in the second half as the Wildcats ran away with the win in their season opener.
