Recreation Sports Complex

The Recreation Sports Complex opened in November 2018 and includes a fully lit turf infield and NCAA competition track. Other highlights include: grandstands with 600 spectator seats, throws venue (hammer, shot put, javelin, and discus), stadium style scoreboard, restrooms, food truck capabilities and perimeter fencing.

Throws venue named for: Dick and Marlys Bedlington. Bedlington is the CWU men's track and field record holder for the men's javelin with a distance of 241'11", set during the 1970 season.  The Dick and Marlys Bedlington Throws Venue meets all NCAA competition specifications to accommodate hammer, shotput, javelin, and discus.
