Meet Results

SEATTLE (Feb. 13) -- Sophomore Anthony Hogan (Federal Way/Todd Beamer HS) ran the second-fastest 60-meter hurdle time in the history of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, highlighting Central Washington University's day at the UW Indoor Open at Dempsey Indoor on Sunday.

Hogan, whose previous personal best of 8.32 seconds had previously been ranked second in conference history, was clocked with a time of 8.31 seconds on Sunday. He placed second at the meet and took over the top spot in the GNAC this season in the event.

Meanwhile, reigning GNAC Men's Athlete of the Week Bryan Mack (Arlington) tied for second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.97 seconds.

In the field events, senior thrower Jordan Stueckle (Selah) unleashed a toss of 15.21 meters (49 feet, 11 inches) in the women's weight throw to join the GNAC's all-time top 10 in the event. Although her mark placed 14th overall (of 39 competitors) in Sunday's competition, it was the seventh-best mark in conference history.

The only other top three finish by a Wildcat individual or team on Sunday was a third-place time in the men's 4x400-meter relay, as the foursome of Kyle Fremd (Kirkland/Bellevue Christian HS), Ryan Eidsmoe (Federal Way/Todd Beamer HS), Zach Armstrong (Breckenridge, Colo./Summit HS), and Colin Alexander (Fall City/Mount Si HS) won its heat (one of three heats in the event) with a time of 3:27.50.

Central Washington will return to action next weekend, with the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships in Nampa, Idaho.
