ELLENSBURG, Wash. (Mar. 29) -- The Central Washington University men's rugby team defeated the Washington State University by a score of 95-6 Saturday afternoon at the CWU Soccer Fields.

The Wildcats (10-0, 9-0 NCRC) dominated from possession and territory running in 10 first-half tries. GRIFFIN BOUDIA, JACOB BATES, JACOB DANIELS and GAVIN SCHAG all scored twice on the day. In the 2nd half the Wildcats emptied their bench and ran in 5 more scores.

It was a solid performance according to CWU Head Coach Tony Pacheco, "Really happy with the guys performance, we have things we need to improve on going forward but this was a good day for us."

It is a quick turnaround as the Wildcats finish off their regular season play with a home match on Sunday March 30th versus the Idaho Vandals. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. at the Varsity Soccer Field. The final chance to catch the Wildcats at home this year is April 5th in the NCRC Conference Semi-Final versus University of Washington 3 p.m. kickoff at the Varsity Soccer Field.
