Why did you choose Central? The challenge to rebuild a program in a very competitive conference along with a university and community that supports its athletics programs.

What unique ability does your role give you? To mentor, challenge and teach young women how to succeed as athletes and individuals through a game I love.

What is the best advice you have ever received? If you can't pay in cash, don't buy it. – My grandfather

What is the best thing about working at Central? My co-workers, and living five-minutes from my office.

What achievement are you most proud of? Making it to where I am in my career.  I had a lot of people tell me that being an NCAA head coach was impossible for me.  There was even a time I felt it was impossible… Growing up in Hawaii a lot of people thought it was far-fetched.  But I stuck with the process, through the ups and down, and I am very proud of that.

What is something people may not know about you? Baseball is my favorite sport and I love to cook.

Who is your favorite professional sports team? The Washington Nationals formerly known as the Montreal Expos, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Minnesota Vikings

What is your favorite food? Seafood, especially king crab with a boat of butter.

What kind of music do you listen to? 90's R&B and Hip Hop

What is the last book you read? Lead for God's Sake – Todd G. Gongwer

What was your childhood ambition? To play professional baseball

What was your very first job? Stocker in an electronics warehouse

What is your most prized possession? My baseball card collection.

In your free time you like too… Read, watch movies and play poker

One word that describes you: Competitive
