Why did you choose Central? I chose Central because of the staff and students.  I thought everyone was really cool when I interviewed and it has been true ever since.
 
What unique ability does your role give you? The ability to impact student-athletes every day.
 
What is the best advice you have ever received? Take time to care. From Leon Kugaler, my first college coach.
 
What is the best thing about working at Central? The support of the staff and being able to work with the fantastic student-athletes we have.
 
What achievement are you most proud of? The success we have had building our program, but more importantly the success of our girls after they graduate.
 
What is something people may not know about you? I climbed a 19,000-foot volcano in Ecuador called Cotopaxi. 
 
Who is your favorite professional sports team? Arsenal
 
What is your favorite food? Sushi
 
What kind of music do you listen to? Everything from Aerosmith to Black Eyed Peas…I have Ke$ha on my iPod, only because she's a SoCal gangster.
 
What is the last book you read?  You Win in the Locker Room First, by Jon Gordon and I'm reading Sir Alex Ferguson's LEADING.
 
What was your childhood ambition? I wanted to be a smoke jumper.  I wanted to jump out of planes and fight fires in remote locations.
 
What was your very first job? I worked at an Orange Julius in the mall.
 
What is your most prized possession? My kids, that's an easy one.
 
Do you have a nickname? If so, how did you get it? Corky.  I grew up surfing and Corky Carroll was my favorite surfer.  Everyone has their own surfing name and that was mine.
 
In your free time you like too… I love to go hiking.  The PNW is an awesome place to hike.
 
One word that describes you: Unorthodox
