MORGATA, Calif. (Jan. 5) – The Central Washington University men's rugby team fell to No. 4 Saint Mary's College, 50-0, in a D1A fixture.

"Full credit to St Mary's they were very dominant today," CWU Head Coach
Todd Thornley said.  "Hard to win games with our scrum and lineout being poor. However, this is only day 4 together and is valuable feedback as we get into our season. Looking forward to seeing the response and potential growth from today's outcome."

The Gaels took an early 7-0 lead, before extending their advantage to 24-0 at halftime.  Saint Mary's offense went back to work in the second half, scoring 26 points for a 50-0 victory.

The Wildcats are back in action on Saturday, January 12.  The Crimson and Black head to the University of Washington for a 1:00 p.m. fixture.
