2018 RUGBY 7's RECAP
The Wildcats finished last year's 7's schedule with a 5-6-1 record. They recorded victories over the University of Saskatchewan, the University of Regina, Davenport, and Harvard. The wins over Davenport and Harvard came during the USA Rugby 7's College National Championship in Glendale, Colorado.
In two matches against Saskatchewan (SASK) the Wildcats allowed just five points and tallied 31 points in each fixture.
Central split the 7's series with Regina, first falling 10-7 before recording a 15-12 victory to close out the 2018 Vancouver Rugby Festival.
During the USA Rugby 7's College National Championship, the Wildcats played a close first match with Lindenwood but ultimately fell 17-7. They then fell to Dartmouth, 29-14, before playing to a 14-14 draw with Penn State. Central then handled Davenport in a 36-7 victory, before ending the tournament with a 34-12 victory over Harvard.
