CLEVELAND – The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) has announced its "Best Of" award winners for the 2019-20 academic year. The Central Washington University athletics department has tied a department-best with five awards.
This marks the second straight year CWU Athletics has won five "Best Of" Awards. The Wildcats set a department record with five for the 2018-19 academic year and once again matched the total.

Initiated in 2003, the NACMA "Best Of" Awards program honors outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions. Awards are presented in 16 categories, with each category divided into three groups based upon school size and conference affiliations to promote fairness.
Nearly 1,000 entries were submitted through the NACMA Community for the 2019-20 academic year. CWU has been involved each of the last five years, with this being the second consecutive year finishing with a department-best five awards.
The Wildcats took home one gold medal, three silver medals, and one bronze medal. CWU's lone gold came in Community Engagement & PR. The bronze medal for the Crimson and Black was in the Digital Video Segment category.
The three silver medals awarded came in Multi Branding Platform Campaign, Sponsorship Activation, and Static Promotion Ad. The Sponsorship Activation Award is a Past President's Choice award.
