ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- The Central Washington University Department of Athletics has announced the cancelation of this week's games for softball and volleyball out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of student-athletes and staff.

Softball's games at Western Oregon, scheduled for Saturday (April 24) and Sunday (April 25), have been canceled.

Volleyball's match at Saint Martin's, originally scheduled for Thursday (April 22), and Friday's (April 23) home match against Saint Martin's have been canceled.

The Department of Athletics, as well as the softball and volleyball programs, will continue to follow local and regional health authorities' recommendations.
