QUOTABLE
"It was a disappointing first game leaving multiple runners on base," CWU Head Coach
Joe DiPietro said. "We need to be much more disciplined at the plate and execute. In the second game, Izzy was really good! She made pitches when she needed to and made our one run stand."

In the bottom of the fourth, Smoke worked a lead-off walk and Pinder followed with a bunt single, snuffing out both the perfect game and no-hitter. After a groundout, Womack got Schmidt looking to end the inning and preserve the 'Cats lead.
Saint Martin's put the lead-off hitter aboard thanks to an error in the bottom of the fifth. They tried to advance the runner into scoring position via a stolen base, but catcher
