Saturday's match will be the fourth meeting all-time between the Wildcats and Black Knights. CWU and Army first met during the 2018 season, splitting the two meetings. The Wildcats took a 51-20 decision in the last meeting between the teams on March 11, 2020 in Vallejo, Calif.
QUOTING HEAD COACH TODD THORNLEY
"We are excited to head out East and take on one of the top teams in the entire country right now. Army are extremely well coached and are playing some great rugby right now, so this is another fantastic opportunity for us to learn what high level collegiate rugby is all about. We are slowly getting healthier which will allow us to lean on some more experienced student-athletes in what will be a tough environment to play with a great home crowd and an amazing rugby facility."
