ELLENSBURG, Wash.—Central Washington's Avery Fisk and Drew Klein were named today to the U.S. Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II All-Region team, the organization announced on Wednesday.
 
Fisk, a senior from Ellensburg, was honored for her exploits in discus. She won her second straight Great Northwest Athletic Conference championship last month with a throw of 43.47m. She also finished third in the shot put (13.37m).
 
Klein, a freshman from Auburn, Wash., finished second at the GNAC Championships in the decathlon with 6436 points. He won the decathlon pole vault, and recorded top three finishes in the long jump, 400m, 110m hurdles, discus, javelin, and 1500m.
 
A total of 41 GNAC male and female student athletes were honored by the USTFCCCA.
