QUOTING HEAD COACH JONATHAN HILL
"NCAA XC Regionals is an opportunity to advance for some, a last race of the season for others, and a challenging environment for everyone! We got to see some of the best teams in the NCAA today uo close. Our women closed out the year gaining tons of experience. I'm expecting our leaders to take our whole top group up another level with what we learned and we're inspired by today. When we mention the best in the country competing today, we mean people like
Johan Correa. We believe in Johan. He's a tough guy who runs to win, but he also races so intelligently."
QUOTING JOHAN CORREA
"I felt good going into the race. It was rainy and the course was slippery, but I was not worried about that. I knew the race would be a mental battle, so I was ready to do that. I'm happy with how I raced and won such a big meet."
