QUOTING HEAD COACH TODD THORNLEY
"We are excited to head North and take on a good program in what will be another physical encounter. Our challenge is to continue to evolve our performance game to game and work hard during our preparation to give us the best possible chance of a favorable outcome. TWU will certainly take advantage of any inconsistencies in our game, and we are fired up to meet that challenge."

ABOUT THE FIXTURE
Saturday's stream will be covered on The Rugby Network, free for all viewers.

Trinity Western is 2-7, including matchups from their fall season. Both victories came on the Canadian University Men's Rugby Championship against Calgary and Queen's, earning 5th-place in that tournament. The Spartans lost a pair of fixtures to Victoria and British Columbia during the fall season.

In four career matchups, the Wildcats are 4-0 all-time against the Spartans. The Crimson and Black have been rather dominant against Trinity Western, expect for last year's showdown in Ellensburg, where the Wildcats came out on top by a final score of 27-24.

Across the four times the sides have faced off, CWU has outscored TWU 191-34.
