ELLENSBURG, Wash. - The #4 Central Washington University Wildcats Men's Rugby team battled hard but ultimately fell to the #5 Lindenwood Lions Tuesday morning by a final score of 37-22. A trio of late tries by the Lions in the last 13 minutes of the contest would help lead to their victory.
QUOTING HEAD COACH TODD THORNLEY
"Tight game for 65 mins and sadly our skill errors caught up on us against a very good Lindenwood team today. There was elements of our game that were positive but areas where we were typically strong we struggled so this is a much needed gut check as we head into similar opponents to come in the postseason. We have an opportunity to respond this Sunday and look forward to doing exactly that".
