BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Central Washington University men's rugby team picked up their first loss of the season Saturday afternoon to a physical University of British Columbia team that took the lead late and never looked back.
INSIDE THE FIXTURE
- Final: CWU 27, UBC 38
- Location: Harrington Field | Bellingham, Wash
QUOTING HEAD COACH TODD THORNLEY
"A game of pressure cycles today was when we did our individual jobs and applied pressure on a very good team and we got some good outcomes and managed to have a lead heading into the final ten minutes. The learnings out of this one are invaluable and full credit to UBC who did a great job nullifying some of our strengths and pulled out the win."
