Biography

Background: The incoming freshman from Lake Stevens, Ares Van Straaten brings strong range to the Wildcats after his best season so far. Van Straaten helped lead Lake Stevens on the track in the 3200 meters and 1600 meters with new 9:09 and 4:16 personal bests, leading to a 4th place finish at the 3200 meters final in the WIAA 4A State Championships.
