2024-2025: Allison's sophomore campaign started during indoor season, where she competed in the mile and 3000m. At the Riverfront Invitational, Allison had PR's in both the mile and the 3000m. She competed on the DMR as the 1600m (fourth) leg for the Indoor GNAC Championships, helping them to place sixth in the conference. Following her GNAC appearance, Allison ran the 1500m and the 3000m steeplechase outdoors. She had PR's in both events at the Whitworth Jefferahn Classic. 
2023-2024: As a freshman, Allison Smith was a three-season athlete, running cross country in the fall and joining both the indoor and outdoor track rosters. She ran the mile during indoor season, and ran the 800m, 1500m, and 3000m steeplechase during outdoor. Allison ran her current PR in the 1500m at the OSU High Performance meet, and qualified in the 3000m steeplechase for Outdoor GNAC Championships.
Background: Allison Smith comes to Central from Naches Valley High School, where she ran cross country and track. She helped her cross team to earn their first team state trophy in school history, was a team captain, and was on their state 4x400m relay that took second at state. Allison's mom and sister both went to CWU as well.
