Biography
Background: Azariah Miller comes to Central Washington from Curtis High School where she was a WIAA State Meet qualifier all four years of high school. As a freshman, Miller took home a 5th place finish individually in the triple jump, a 3rd place finish as a member of the 4x200m relay, and a 4th place finish as a 4x100m relay member. In the same year, her 4x200m relay brought home a 5th place finish at Nike Outdoor Nationals. In 2023, Azariah again showcased her talents on the top State and National stages. At the WIAA State meet both her 4x100m and 4x200m relay team took the gold and she took home a bronze medal finish in the triple jump. At the Nike Outdoor National meet the Vikings 4x200m relay finished second. In her junior campaign, Azariah was once again a three event WIAA State Meet qualifier in the triple jump, 4x200m, and 4x100m relays. She finished out her high school career as one of the top triple jumpers in the state, jumping 11.82m to qualify for a fourth state championship appearance in the event. During her time at Central, she will be pursuing a degree in psychology.
