Background: Bella Connell comes to Ellensburg from Bellingham, WA. Bella qualified for the WIAA 2A State Championship Meet all four years of high school in the 100 meter hurdles and 4x100m relay. She placed 8th individually in the 100m hurdle final as a freshman and her 4x100m relay team placed 3rd. In 2023, Connell was the state runner-up in the 100m hurdles and she ran the third leg on both the state runner up 4x200m relay and the 5th place 4x100m relay. In 2024, she placed 3rd individually in the 100m hurdles and 4th as the lead leg on the Mariner’s 4x100m relay. In her senior campaign, Bella finished as the 2A runner-up in the 100m hurdles, 4th as the lead leg on the 4x200m relay, and anchored the 6th place 4x100m relay. The Seahome High School record holder in the 100 meter hurdles is the daughter of Georgianne - four-time All-American Gymnast at Seattle Pacific University and Travis Connell - National Champion soccer player at Seattle Pacific University and National Championship winning Head Coach of the Western Washington University Women’s Soccer team.
