Background: Ebony “Blessing” Ayodeji joins the Wildcat track and field roster alongside her twin Joy. She was the Valedictorian of her graduating class at Sultan High School and was awarded the US Army Reserve national Scholar Athlete Award. Lettering in volleyball, basketball, and track, Blessing was first team all league for volleyball in 2022, a two time qualifier for the WIAA State Track and Field Championships in 2022 & 2023, and was 4 time all league for track and field. 
2024-2025: Blessing capped off her first season as a Wildcat with a dual event qualification at the GNAC Outdoor Championships in both the discus and the shot put. She was the most improved shot putter across the Wildcat throws cohort with  a 2.07 m improvement on her high school best with an 11.75 m toss at the CWU Wildcat opener. She also improved in the discus with a 35.09 m toss at the WWU Ralph Vernaccia Invite to qualify her for conference in the event. Blessing began learning the hammer and weight throws this season and is looking to make those primary focuses in the next season!
