Background: Brady Holland is an incoming freshman dual-sport athlete from Lincoln High School in Portland, OR.  He will be joining the Wildcats’ Football and Track and Field rosters for the 2025-2026 seasons. An all-state selection for the Oregon Class 6A division as both an offensive and defensive lineman, Holland looks to be an impact player for the Wildcats on the football field as well as in the ring. He began to make noise as one of the top throwers in Oregon as a Junior. Brady finished as the OSAA 6A State Runner-Up in the shot put and was also a qualifier in the discus at the 2024 State meet in Eugene. Committing to throwing in the off-season and building an excellent foundation for his senior season, Holland competed in his first indoor season finishing 3rd in both the shot put and weight throw at the STCU West Coast Championships in Spokane. He concluded a strong indoor run with a trip to New York, where he placed 3rd at the Nike Indoor National Championships in the shot put. Capping off a strong senior season, Brady took home the State Championship title in the 6A boys shot put and a 3rd place finish in the discus. He finished his high school career with a personal best throw and a 3rd place finish in the discus at the Nike Outdoor National Meet.
