2024-2025: Calvon started out his career as a WIldcat with a long jump personal record of 6.30m and a collegiate best high jump of 2.03m during the indoor season. Wrapping up his indoor season, Calvon battled out a jump off in the high jump to take the Indoor GNAC Championship title with a jump of 2.02m. Taking this momentum into outdoor season, he high jumped at the Oregon Preview meet for third place overall. In the following four meets, Calvon took first in three of them. He was a high jump qualifier for the Outdoor GNAC Championships. 
Background: Calvon Baker comes to Ellensburg from Mililani High School in Hawaii. His career in high school included an undefeated year in high jump as a senior. He won both the Hawaii state championship as well as the USATF Junior Olympic national championship and achieved a personal best of 6'8.25" in his dominant year. Calvon qualified for the state championship in the triple jump where he took 4th as well as in the long jump. He was a 2 time all-state athlete during his time at Mililani.
