2024-2025: Caleb finished out his first outdoor season as a Wildcat with a 10th place finish in the GNAC Outdoor Championship shot put competition with a personal best throw of 14.14 M. After red-shirting the indoor season, Reed began his career in the hammer throw and found consistency with both the larger shot put and discus.
Background: Caleb Reed joins the 2024 recruiting class from Renton High School where he was a multi-sport athlete competing in football, wrestling, cheer, and track and field. Caleb was a multiple time all league player as a defensive lineman, offensive linemen, and specialist for the Redhawk football team. He was also an all-American cheerleader for the Renton High School cheer squad. In the ring, Reed was a league champion in the shot put and runner up in the discus. He was a state qualifier during his junior and senior seasons placing 7th in the discus and 9th in the shot put in 2024.
