2024-2025: Charlie Naught began his Wildcat career with the cross country team, and he made both the GNAC Cross Country Championship and NCAA DII Regional meet rosters as a freshman. His contributions helped the men's team to place 5th at GNAC's and 8th at Regionals. After cross country season, Charlie joined the track team for outdoor. He ran the 1500m, 3000m, 3000m steeplechase, and 5000m. At the Whitworth Jefferahn Classic he had PR's in the 1500m and 5000m, and followed it with a PR in the 3000m at the Wildcat Invitational. Charlie placed second at the Pee Wee Halsell Invitational in the 3000m steeplechase, and qualified for Outdoor GNAC Championships in the 3000m steeplechase. Charlie ran another PR in the steeplechase at conference. 
Background: Charlie Naught comes to CWU as a multi-time qualifier to the WIAA State Cross Country Championship, as well as highlighted by a win in the 3200 meters at the Prosser Rotary Invitational as a Junior.
