Biography
2024-2025: After training with CWU Football in the fall, Boogy started his indoor track and field career with a new personal record in the 60 meter hurdles. Following his immediate PR was another one, setting the CWU 60m Hurdles Record with a time of 8.08 seconds while at the UW Invitational meet. He went on to place second at the Indoor GNAC meet, bringing home his first medal. For outdoor, Boogy ran both the 110 and 400 meter hurdles, with personal records in both events. At the CWU Wildcat Invitational, Boogy ran 14.15 in the 110 meter hurdles- setting another school record along with his PR. This started a streak of first place finishes for the rest of the season, including meet wins at the Pee Wee Halsell and Ralph Vernaccia Invitationals. The most significant meet win would be Outdoor GNACs, with a time of 14.26 that earned him another medal to finish out his freshman season.
