Biography
2024-2025: In Donna Marie's junior year at Central, she lowered her PR in the 400 to 56.11 during the finals of the GNAC outdoor championships where she placed 4th. Donna Marie also helped the Central 4x400 relay to a 2nd place finish at the GNAC Outdoor Championships. During the 43rd Ralph Vernacchia Collegiate Invitational, she lowered her 200m PR to 25.02. During the indoor season, she lowered her 60m PR to 7.86 at the GNAC Indoor Championships. Her 400m time of 57.67 at the same meet earned her 5th place. Donna Marie contributed several points in both the indoor and outdoor GNAC championship as an individual as well as a member of the 4x400 relay. Not only strong in her individual events, Donna Marie was the alternate for the National Qualifying 4x100m relay team, earning her a 2nd Team All-American Honors. She is currently 8th All-Time in the 200m dash and 3rd in the 400m dash.
2023-2024: Sophomore year, Donna Marie ran the 60 meter, 200 meter, and 400 meter dashes, as well as the 4x400 meter relay. She was a three-time qualifier for the Indoor GNAC Championships, in the 200m and 400m dashes, and the 4x400m relay. She placed 7th in the 200m and placed 1st in the 4x400m relay, running the second leg and hitting a National Provisional time. Come outdoor, Donna Marie placed 5th at the Oregon Preview meet in the 400m dash, placed 3rd in the 400m dash at the Oregon State High Performance, as well as 4th in the 4x100m relay, and had a personal record in the 100m dash. She was a three-time qualifier for Outdoor GNAC Championships, in the 400m dash, 4x100m and 4x400m relays. Running the first leg on the 4x100m, her and her relay team placed 1st, and the 4x400m relay team placed 3rd with Donna Marie running the anchor leg.
2022-2023: As an incoming freshman, Donna Marie joined the Wildcats ready to run. Her first indoor season, she competed in the 200 meter, 400 meter dashes, the 800 meter run, 60m hurdles, and the 4x400 meter relay. She was a three-time qualifier for the Indoor GNAC Championships in the 200 meter, 400 meter dash, and the 4x400 meter relay. Donna Marie had a PR in the 400m dash that placed her 6th, and ran the third leg of the 4x400m relay, helping them to place 2nd. Taking this momentum into outdoor, she competed in the 100 meter, 200 meter, and 400 meter dashes, 400 meter hurdles, high jump, and the 4x400 meter relay team. Donna Marie had a 100 meter PR at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic meet. Following this was the CWU Wildcat Open, where she had a 200m dash PR of 25.81, placed 5th in the 400m dash, 1st in the 4x400m relay, and 4th in the long jump. To finish out her freshman year, Donna Marie was a three time qualifier for the Outdoor GNAC Championships, in the 200m dash, 400m dash, and 4x400m relay. Running the first leg of the 4x400m relay, Donna Marie helped her relay team place 2nd in the GNAC Championship.
Background: Donna Marie arrives at Central after an impressive high school career at Lynwood High School. She specialized in the 200 and 400 as well as contributing to the relays. She was an individual state qualifier in the 200 and 400 her senior year where she took 7th in the 400. She ran a personal best of 58.78 in the finals of her league championship.
