Biography
2024-2025: Picking up where she left off, Elise's junior year started with a three-time Indoor GNAC Championship qualifications in the 200m and 400m dashes, as well as the 4x400m relay. She placed 8th in the 200m dash, 3rd in the 400m dash, and 3rd in the 4x400m relay where she ran the anchor leg. Almost immediately following her indoor championship performances, Elise placed 3rd overall in the 400m dash at the Oregon Preview. She had a PR in the 100m dash and 200m dash of 24.25, placing 3rd in both events at the Whitworth Jeffrahn Classic meet. This 200m dash PR earned Elise the number three spot on the CWU Outdoor All-Time List, and her 100m dash PR of 12.14 earned her the sixth spot. To finish out her junior year, Elise was a four-time Outdoor GNAC Championship qualifier in the 200m and 400m dashes, 4x100m and 4x400m relays. She ran her current 400m PR of 54.35 to place 3rd overall, earning her the number one spot on the CWU Outdoor All-Time List for the 400m dash. She also placed 4th in the 200m dash, ran the anchor leg on the 4x400m relay for a 2nd place finish, and ran the first leg of the National Qualifying 4x100m relay team for 1st place. After Outdoor GNAC's, Elise and her relay team competed at the NCAA DII National meet, where they ran their current PR of 44.76 for the CWU School Record, and earned them 2nd Team All-American Honors.
2023-2024: Her sophomore year, Elise dominated the long sprints during the indoor season. She improved her 200m dash time to 25.10 and her 400m dash time to 56.55. Both of these personal records were ran at the Indoor GNAC Championship meet, earning her a 5th place finish in the 200m dash and 1st place finish 400m dash. Following her individual event win, Elise ran the anchor leg of the Central 4x400m relay team helping them to take the event title. After indoor, Elise started her outdoor season strong with an event win at the Oregon Preview in the 400 meter dash, along with a new PR of 56.16. She also improved her 200m dash time to 24.88, winning the PLU Open meet.
2022-2023: Elise started her career as a Wildcat running the 60 meter, 200 meter, and 400m meter dashes, as well as the 4x400 meter relay. During her first indoor season she improved her 200 meter dash to 25.71 and her 400 meter dash to 57.74. At the Indoor GNAC Championship, Elise placed 7th in the 200m dash, 5th in the 400m, and 2nd in the 4x400m relay where she ran the second leg of the race. During outdoor she ran the 100 meter, 200 meter, and 400 meter dashes, and the 4x100 meter and 4x400 meter relays. She was a five-time Outdoor GNAC Championship qualifier in the 100m, 200m, and 400m dashes, 4x400m and 4x100m relays. She placed 6th in the 400m dash, 3rd in the 4x100m where she ran the first leg, and 2nd in the 4x400m that she ran the second leg on.
Background: Elise Hopper brings several WIAA state medals to the Central track and field program from South Kitsap High School. During her senior year she was a member of the state champion 4x200 and 4x400 relays. She was also a member of the 2nd place 4x100 and placed 3rd in the individual 400m race where she ran a personal best of 58.22. Elise was involved in scoring for 34 of the South Kitsap teams 65 points in the teams 2nd place finish at the state championship meet.

High school: She Graduated from South Kitsap High school in 2022. Hopper was apart of Thriller Track and field. USATF Junior Olympic All-American, and 3x high school record holder.
Personal: Moira Hoisington and Bryan Hopper are my parents, I have 4 siblings one being a twin sister, and my birthday is May 16th
